The WaterSource I Granular Activated Carbon Filter offers excellent filtration of chlorine, chlorine vapors, reduction of THM’s, VOC’s, rust particles, sediment, bad tastes and odors. The radial flow design has benefits over standard carbon filters, such as low pressure drop and a significant reduction of carbon fine release commonly associated with GAC-style cartridges. This 20” radial flow cartridge is constructed with a 70 micron porous polyethylene outer shell and durable polypropolyne end caps. It incorporates a spun polypropolyne core and sandwiched between the outer shell and the inner core is a generous bed of granular activated carbon.
